Hello neighbours! A quick heads-up about a City of Toronto program that could help you or someone on your floor stay safe this summer.

The City of Toronto's Air Conditioner Support Program is giving away a minimum of 1,000 free portable air conditioning units to eligible Toronto residents. The program was recently expanded beyond low-income seniors to also include pregnant individuals and parents or guardians of infants.
Applications are open April 7 to April 21, 2026. If you're reading this close to the deadline, please don't wait, get your application in today.
Visit toronto.ca/ACprogram to check eligibility and apply. You can also call 311 for help navigating the application.
Thanks to MPP Smyth's office and the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly (ACE) for passing along the information, and to our building reps for helping get the word out. Stay cool, stay safe, and take care of one another.
